The first page of the Minutes of the London & Provincial Turkish Bath Company Limited recorded the initial subscribers' meeting held on 19 November 1860.

The minute book (332x214mm) is part of the extensive collection of Poore family papers located at the Wiltshire County Record Office, Trowbridge. It gives a very detailed account of the problems encountered by the company before and after the baths opened. Unfortunately the following minute book has not been found.
