Women's cooling room in Earls Court Gardens
One of the ladies’ cooling rooms in James's Hydro in Earl's Court Gardens, London. The illustration is from a booklet published by the baths around the middle of the 1920s. The room it describes, stated to be 20 ft. x 75 ft., would not have changed much in appearance since it was originally fitted out. It is instructive to compare this with the picture (from the same booklet) of the men's cooling room.
