Dr J L W Thudichum, (1829-1901)

Johan Ludwig Wilhelm Thudichum, born in Germany, was a controversial figure and he was largely suspected and criticized. His fame is entirely posthumous, and it was only some years after his death that he was considered the first English biochemist.
