Dr Thomas Henry Meikle, 1834-1914

Dr Meikle bought Lochhead Hydropathic Establishment from the Trustees of his late brother William in 1861 and immediately built Turkish baths in the grounds. He left Lochhead seven years later and, at the age of 34, founded a new hydro, Crieff, at Strathearn.
