Rita's The Mystery of a Turkish bath was published in London, Toronto, and New York in 1888.

Rita, the pseudonym of Eliza Margaret J Humphreys, was a prolific writer of light fiction. The mystery is set in a Hampshire Hotel Spa which is not living up to its financial promise.
