Victorian Turkish Baths Picture of the Month February 2008

Porchester Hall Turkish baths, Queensway, London
 Supporters Club charity programme

Victorian Turkish Bath Project

In common with several other Turkish baths, especially those which could be found in the East End of London, the Porchester Hall Turkish Bath has long had a group of regulars who use the baths at a particular time—in this case, Saturday mornings. But this group has on occasion engaged in other activities such as raising money for charity.

We would like to hear from anyone who can tell us more about supporters clubs and their activities, whether at Porchester Hall or any other Turkish baths.

The Porchester Hall Turkish baths are still open, and the Saturday morning crowd can still be found!
