Victorian Turkish Baths Picture of the Month for March 2011

USA: West Virginia: Berkeley Springs:
Turkish bath house, c.1934

Berkeley Springs Turkish bath house
< Published by the Asheville Post Card Co, Asheville, N.C.

Nothing is so far known about these baths which appear to have been demolished some time in the middle of the 20th century. Berkeley Springs, West Virginia (more correctly known as Bath, and twinned with the English city of the same name) is a historic spa town which runs an annual International Water Tasting.

The card was posted on 22 August 1934.
