Charles Bartholomew's first Turkish Bath, Bristol

Bartholomew's Turkish Baths, College Green, Bristol, in the 1880s.

The building was originally built for Isambard Kingdom Brunel as the Great Western Hotel but was unsuccessful after Liverpool became the major port for travel to the United States.

The façade of the building still stands, though a modern office block housing Bristol's Planning Department has been built behind it.
