Plan of domestic baths in a private house (in 1822) in  Tripoli, Syria (now the Lebanon).

In Fig.1, the sudatory (marked B) is 8ft 6in by 6ft 6in  and has a dome ceiling pierced with very small  windows  admitting a feeble light.
