Dr Charles Lockhart Robertson

             
Dr Charles Lockhart Robertson pioneered the humane treatment of mental illness at the Sussex County ‘Lunatic Asylum’. In 1862 he introduced a Turkish bath there which was specially designed by David Urquhart.
