Oct 30. 1890.

Dear Mrs Hamilton,

     I wonder whether
you would allow me to
bring Mr Oliver to see
you some afternoon? It
would give him real
pleasure — & you have
always been so kind to
me that I feel
y  I
know you quite well
enough to ask this.

I shall expect you to
tell me quite honestly

whether you would mind
our invading you.
If you would let us
come, do you think
you would add to your
kindness by letting me
know when?

I do so hope your
cold is better, — as
well as your husband's —
& that you have both
boiled yourselves
over the Turkish Bath.

And how is Miss Melville?

Always yours very sincerely
