of the patentees, Joseph Walton, gave his address as 335 Strand (at,
or adjacent to, the Turkish Baths at number 335c). But in 1862 these
were listed as being under John Shelton's proprietorship, and
between the years 1874-7 they were owned by Haman Smith.
The
other patentee, James Moore, was proprietor of a Turkish Bath for
horses located off Portman Square at 11, Upper Berkeley Street.
