Interestingly, the abridged prospectus of the company, which appeared as an advertisement in the local paper, made no mention of Turkish Baths, merely stating that 'The Company has been formed for the Building and Working of Salt Water Baths.' The proposed establishment was also to include slipper and shower baths, together with a caretaker's house.
