Folkestone: 1-3 Ingles Road: cooling-room

Cooling-room
< Photo: 100 views of Folkestone

The cooling-room on the right of the baths, behind the main entrance.

The two keyhole windows are internal and overlook the plunge pool in the adjacent area.

Each of the changing cubicles, an additional five of which are behind the viewer, has a couch for relaxation after the bath.

The central stove, seen behind the potted plant at the front of the photo, has an underfloor flue which takes the smoke to a chimney behind the plunge pool.
