The photograph is labelled: 'Mrs Butcher, looked after the Turkish Baths.'

While Foreign Affairs Committeeman Henry Butcher was alive, his wife looked after the women's days at 155 High Street, Winchester. After he died, c.1880, she managed the baths alone for a short while, but there is no record of them after 1881.
