After being taken to court in 1881 over alleged negligence due to a faulty flue, all Millar & Jury advertisements for the Lincoln Place TurkishBaths stressed the superiority of their heating and ventilation system.

But as the 1880s turned into the 1890s, a new emphasis on health, general at first, began to appear.
