The White Rock Turkish Baths, Hastings:
a cooling cubicle

Cooling cubicles would be used for changing before and after taking a Turkish bath. The bather would then be able to cool off and have a rest before going to the cooling-room for light refreshments, a chat and, perhaps, a smoke.
