William Park was appointed by Charles Bartholomew as Turkish Bath Attendant at his establishment in the City of Bath in 1886. Bartholomew died in 1889 and, after running the baths for Charles's 19-year old niece Kate until she got married, William purchased the Worcester baths at 28 Sansome Walk from Bartholomew's executors in 1890, renaming them Park's Baths.
