Turkish Baths

On 6 January 1894, an advertisement appeared in the local paper under the heading Turkish Baths / Most Important Announcement. It stated that the Tramore Turkish Baths would soon be open to the public, and that the 'radiating warm and shower baths' had 'undergone a complete overhauling'.

It has not, so far, been possible to determine whether the Turkish baths were a new facility added to an existing baths establishment, as seems to be indicated, or whether existing Turkish baths were to re-open shortly with refurbished radiating, warm, and shower baths.
